Castelldefels is a coastal town of 50,000 inhabitants, situated 20 minutes from Barcelona and 10 minutes from the Airport, using: the main road (C-245), the dual carriageway (C-31), the motorway (C-32), and bus and trainlines.

By car from Barcelona (at least 30 minutes, depending on the traffic):

Leaving Barcelona to the South-West, get on the C-32 Highway in direction Tarragona / Sitges / Castelldefels. Leave the Highway on Exit 46, following “Canal Olimpic” or “Campus UPC” indications.


By train from Barcelona (at least 30 minutes, trains every 20 minutes):

Take the RENFE C2 suburbian train (Rodalies) from Sants Estació or Passeig de Gràcia in direction Castelldefels (trains to Sitges, Vilanova or St. Vicenç, normally platform 5 at Sants Station).
Get off in Castelldefels, leave the train station to the left-hand side of the train coming from Barcelona, cross a car park and the footbridge over the Highway and get straight to the Institute building on the campus (smallest of the buildings in sight, 8 minutes walk from the train).
